Three Bf109 battles / Trzy bitwy spod znaku Bf109

Traditional Monday Academy

Like every Monday, the Blood Red Skies Academy took place in Warsaw. Although there were only two of us, fortunately this is the minimum number of players required for this system ;)

We played a total of three games (all were dogfights) and in each of them, one side featured a Messerschmitt Bf109. I will briefly describe each of them.

Croatian Bf 109G vs. Soviet Mig 3

The first battle took place between Messerschmitt Bf 109Gs in the camouflage of the Croatian Air Force and Soviet Mig-3s. The game ended with the escape of Soviet machines after losing as many as 3 of their planes, 2 of which were shot down as a result of Flak.

German Bf 109F versus Polish-British Spitfire II

In the second game, the Bf109 F version faced the legendary Spitfire II, although during the game both sides lost one plane each. The Spitfires were often effectively shot at by the Germans and eventually had to escape from the battlefield.

The last battle took place in the skies of Spain, where Republican I-16s, piloted by Soviet volunteers, clashed with Messerschmitt Bf 109s from the Condor Legion. Despite the initial advantage of German technology, the agile I-16, taking advantage of its maneuverability and cloud cover, shot down a total of three Meeserschmitt planes, forcing the entire squadron to retreat.

 Tradycyjna poniedziałkowa Akademia

Jak co poniedziałek w Warszawie odbyła się Akademia Blood Red Skies. Co prawda było nas tylko dwóch, ale na szczęście jest to minimalna liczba wymaganych graczy do tego systemu ;)

Zagraliśmy łącznie trzy gry (wszystkie to dogfight) i w każdej z nich po jednej ze stron wystąpił jakiś Messerschmitt Bf109. Pokrótce opiszę każdą z nich.

Chorwackie Bf 109G kontra radzieckie Mig 3

Pierwsza bitwa odbyła się pomiędzy Messerschmittami Bf 109G w malowaniu lotnictwa Chorwackiego a radzieckimi Mig-3. Gra zakończyła się ucieczką radzieckich maszyn po uprzedniej stracie aż 3 swoich samolotów, z czego aż 2 zostały strącone w wyniku działania Flak.

Niemieckie Bf 109F kontra polsko-brytyjskie Spitfire II

W drugiej grze Bf109 w wersji F zmierzyły się z legendarnymi Spitfire II, mimo, iż w czasie gry obie strony straciły po jednym samolocie Spitfire były często skutecznie ostrzeliwane przez Niemców i ostatecznie z musiały ujść z pola bitwy.

Niemcy z Legionu Condor na Bf 109E kontra sowieccy ochotnicy na I-16

Ostatnia bitwa rozegrała się na niebie Hiszpanii, gdzie Republikańskie I-16, za sterami którymi siedzieli sowieccy ochotnicy starły się z Messerschmittami Bf 109 z Legionu Condor. Mimo początkowej zdawałoby się przewagi niemieckiej techniki, zwinne I-16 korzystając ze zwrotności oraz osłony chmur strąciły łącznie 3 samoloty Meeserschmitta, zmuszając całą eskadrę do odwrotu.
