My squadron

In the Blood Red Skies "Winter Blitzkrieg" tournament in Warsaw, I decided to field a squadron from the Imperial Japanese Navy, namely the A6M2 Zero, the symbol of Japanese blitzkrieg in the Pacific.

The squadron consisted of 5 planes: one rookie, two regulars, one veteran and one ace in the person of Saburo Sakai.

For Trait Cards I chose 2x Deep Pocket and 3x No Stalling, and for the doctrine card I chose Bait and Switch.

Moving on to the course and results of the tournament, I can confidently say that I haven't had such bad luck in my bones for a long time and I think there is no need to write more about it.

Barring bad luck in the dice, I think that choosing the inverse proportion of Trait Cards could reduce the scale of the failure.

Moreover, as part of the doctrine, he should have chosen Aggressive Tactics, which would significantly increase the maneuverability of the Zeros on the battlefield.

But the most important thing is to have fun, and to sweeten up being off the podium, our wonderful organizer, Marcin, provided the opportunity to choose a set of decals.

Of all the decals available, I decided to choose those intended for de Havilland Mosquito FB. mk. VI in the colors of 305 Squadron RAF.

Zimowy Blitzkrieg

Moja eskadra

W warszawskim turnieju Blood Red Skies "Zimowy Blitzkrieg" postanowiłem wystawić eskadrę z marynarki wojennej Cesarstwa Japonii, a mianowicie A6M2 Zero, symbol japońskiego blitzkriegu na Pacyfiku.

Eskadra składała się z 5 samolotów: jednego żółtodzioba, dwóch pilotów regularnych, jednego weterana oraz jednego asa w osobie Saburo Sakai.

Jako Trait Cards wybrałem 2x Deep Pocket i 3x No Stalling, natomiast w ramach karty doktryny wybrałem Bait and Switch.

Przechodząc do przebiegu i wyników turnieju mogę śmiało powiedzieć, że takiego pecha w kościach to nie miałem już dawno i myślę, że więcej na ten temat nie ma potrzeby pisać.

Za wyjątkiem pecha w kościach myślę, że wybór odwrotnej proporcji Trait Cards mógłby zmniejszyć skalę porażki. Ponadto w ramach doktryny powinien jednak wybrać Aggressive Tactics, co znacznie zwiększyłoby manewrowość mich Zer na polu bitwy.

Ale najważniejsza jest zabawa, ponadto na osłodę znalezienia się poza podium nasz wspaniały Organizator Marcin zapewnił możliwość wyboru zestawu kalkomanii.

Z wszystkich możliwych do wyboru kalkomanii postanowiłem wybrać te przeznaczone dla de Havilland Mosquito FB. mk. VI w barwach 305 Dywizjony RAF.

 Nowe zakupy

Teraz przyszedł czas na pochwalenie się zakupami!

Za radą Marcina zakupiłem sobie pudełko do bezcieniowej fotografii!

W związku z tym przedstawiam pierwsze zdjęcia, które to przedstawiają obiecane B-24 Liberator, znajdujące się w mojej kolekcji, których to historia dostępna jest w jednym z poprzednich postów!

More decals in my life!

The next decals I created were decals created for the B-24 Liberator. Due to the fact that I became the owner of printed B-24 models (of not very good quality), I decided to practice my modeling skills on them.

I knew that I wanted to paint them in the colors of some Polish flying unit in the RAF and the choice fell on the 1586th Special Purpose Squadron, at the same time my friend Marcin also dreamed of a Liberator in the painting of this squadron, specifically "Death from the pod".

Searching through available sources, I managed to find materials for a total of 6 Liberators in this unit's painting, and thus two sets of decals were created, each for 3 planes.

 Kolejne kalkomanie w życiu!

Kolejnymi stworzonymi przeze mnie kalkomaniami były kalkomanie stworzone na B-24 Liberator. W związku z tym, że stałem się posiadaczem wydrukowanych modeli B-24 (o niezbyt dobrej jakości) postanowiłem poćwiczyć na nich moje umiejętności modelarskie. 

Wiedziałem, że chcę je pomalować w barwy jakieś polskiej jednostki latającej w ramach RAF i wybór padł na 1586 Eskadrę Specjalnego Przeznaczenia, jednocześnie kolega Marcin także zamarzył o Liberatorze w malowaniu tej eskadry, konkretnie o "Śmierci z zasobnika".

Przeszukując dostępne źródła udało mi się znaleźć materiały na łącznie 6 Liberatorów w malowaniu tej jednostki i tak powstały dwa zestawy kalkomanii, każdy dla 3 samolotów.

 Oba zestawy do zakupu na marketplace, lub przez wiadomość prywatną :)
