Campaign start! Let's get to it.

 Introduction

Hey, for some time now, I've been thinking about playing a Blood Red Skies campaign based on the rules from the Wing Commander rulebook by Warlord Games.

Once I finally got my hands on the rulebook, I had to choose the right period and factions to play (and, of course, an opponent).

Since I'm personally very keen on the aircraft, I decided to take on the modeling side of things. Currently, we have 6 French MS.406 fighters and 6 German Bf 109 E-1s available, but there are already plans for more planes!

First, some information about the command element. According to the campaign rules in the rulebook, I've prepared a command card (for now, we only know about two random members of this element).

Since we have the command element, it's time to introduce the rest of the pilots. For the French, two of the elements are made up of Polish pilots.

All that's left is to introduce the aircraft!

For the aircraft, most of the models aren't available yet, either due to the timeframe (e.g., the D.520) or because they haven't been painted yet (all the rest).

Fall Gelb - Attack on France!

Hey, in connection with the attack of the Third Reich on France and the Benelux countries on May 10, I present one of the basic French fighters, the Morane-Saulnier MS.406.

The unit in which they appear is GC III/7.

The decals are of course my design, available for purchase HERE!

Hej, w związku z przypadającym na 10 maja atakiem wojsk III Rzeszy Niemieckiej na Francję i kraje Beneluksu przedstawiam jeden z podstawowych myśliwców francuskich Morane-Saulnier MS.406.

Jednostka, w której barwach występują to GC III/7.

Ogniem i Mieczem coś nowego i coś starego :)

 Na początek coś nowego.

 Hej, dzisiaj chciałbym pokazać kilka rzeczy do "Ogniem i Mieczem".

Na początek projekt plastunów. Wykonałem nową grupę oraz przerobiłem już istniejącą. W ten sposób posiadam dwie grupy plastunów, i na każdej z podstawek mam po cztery figurki.

 Teraz czas na nową i starą podstawkę

A teraz coś starego ;)

Poniżej przedstawiam posiadanych konnych mołojców w wersji konnej i pieszej.

Niniejszym obie powyższe elementy, czyli plastuni i konni mołojcy są wykonani w wystarczającej ilości.

 

G4M1's are coming!

G4M1 in Japanese Navy service!

On my blog you can see photos of the B-17E and Liberator Mk. III, where I mentioned that I got the prints of these planes for free. Since they were not of the highest quality, I decided to paint them as part of the exercises and development of the workshop.

 

In addition to the two types of aircraft mentioned above, there was one more, namely the Japanese G4M1 Betty.

I decided to paint the planes with a uniform livery, but with interesting decals.

Jako jednostkę wybrałem Misawa Kokutai z roku 1942.

The decals are my own design, but in the meantime my colleague Bernhard also made some (well, great minds think alike) decals available HERE.

Enough talking, time for some planes.

On the planes I used one new thing, namely I first painted the glass areas with a very light blue color and then gave it a blue wash, it turned out great!
